Add ZURO GO to your home screen

ZURO GO is a web app — no App Store, no waiting for updates. Pin it once and it opens like a native app, full-screen, with push notifications.

    Open Safari

    Go to app.zurogo.com — only Safari can install web apps on iOS.

    Tap ··· then «Share»

    Tap the ··· (More) button in Safari, then tap «Share». If your tab bar is at the top or bottom, you can tap the share icon directly.

    Add to Home Screen

    Scroll the share menu and tap «Add to Home Screen» ⊕. If you don't see it, tap «Edit Actions» at the bottom of the list and add it. Turn on «Open as Web App», then tap «Add» — ZURO GO appears on your Home Screen.

    Open Chrome

    Go to app.zurogo.com in Google Chrome.

    Tap ⋮ (Menu)

    Tap the ⋮ icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.

    Install app

    Tap «Install app» (or «Add to Home screen» on older Android). Confirm with «Install» — the ZURO GO icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen.

Push notifications work after install. iOS 16.4 or newer required for full PWA features; any modern Android works.

  1. 1 Install ZURO GO to the home screen (PWA) — see the steps above.
  2. 2 Open the app from the home-screen icon, not from a browser tab.
  3. 3 Allow notifications when the app asks for permission.
iPhone · iOS 16.4+
Make notifications instant
  1. 1 Settings → Notifications → ZURO GO → enable "Allow Notifications", "Lock Screen", "Banners", "Sounds".
  2. 2 Settings → Notifications → Scheduled Summary → make sure ZURO GO is NOT in the list.
  3. 3 Notification Delivery → "Immediately".

  1. 1 Settings → Apps → ZURO GO → Notifications → all channels ON.
  2. 2 Settings → Apps → ZURO GO → Battery → "Unrestricted".
